Shad Asebrook of Sesco Lighting will host a meeting this evening with Paramount Lighting and with a guest speaker, Terry Cobb of Nashville Davidson County. 

In conjunction with the AIA Cote Committee, Terry Cobb will give a presentation.

Join us June 7^th as Terry Cobb, the Building Official for Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County, who was recently named to serve on the Code Development Committee for the International Green Construction Code. Terry will be on hand to provide the Building Code Official’s perspective on the IgCC and discuss the potential of local adoption.

Bio;

Terry Cobb is a Certified Building Official and has served as the Director of the Department of Codes & Building Safety for Metro Nashville & Davidson County, since 1990.  He is a Past President of the Tennessee Building Officials Association and has served as a member of the Boards of Directors of the Southern Building Code Congress as well as the International Code Council. 

In 2010, Terry was recognized by the International Code Council at their annual convention and awarded the organization’s highest award, named after the ICC’s first Chairman, Bobby J. Fowler.
