Recessed/Surface Gypsum Fixtures

This is a really clean look.  I don't usually recommend seamless-type fixtures as the mudding outward from the ring tends to crack over time and/or the contractor will have a tough time feathering out the plaster to make a smooth transition to the ceiling.  These, however, are made of plaster with the fixture to be recessed at equal depth with the ceiling and only needing a bead of plaster to make the transition.  Neat concept.  Let me know if you would like to see an example of this.
